Q: I just completed my order, what's next?
A: Before shipment, we quarantine all fish for at least 24-48 hours. During this period, we closely monitor the fish to make sure they are healthy. We also do not feed them during this time in order to 'clean out' their digestive system and limit their ability to soil the water. This helps reduce the amount of waste in the bag and will keep the water clean.

Q: Who delivers my order and how much?
A:
UPS Next Day Air:
For a low flat rate of $55 any where in the US with any size box.
Southwest:
For any order over $200 or order containing mostly large 4+ Males,
we recommend Southwest Air Cargo for flat rate of $65.
Delta Cargo:
This is available to all customers that does not have the option to use Southwest Air Cargo.
Q: How do you pack my order?
A: We take serious precautions of packaging our fish. We pack all orders in insulated boxes, with aquarium water, we add Fritz methylene blue, and pure oxygen. Heat packs or cool packs are added when needed at no additional cost.
Q: What do I need to do to prepare to receive my new fish? What type of tank preparations do I have to do for the fish that I've ordered?
A: A good rule of thumb is to always research the fish you want to buy. This is to ensure that you have the proper environment for your fish to live in. That also means having a healthy, cycled tank for them live and thrive.
My 2nd rule of thumb is to always have a spare tank set up, so you can acclimate your fish to your water before adding them into a main tank. No matter where you order your fish, you should always quarantine to ensure the fish you receive are healthy and free of parasite diseases.
Q: I just received my order; how do I acclimate?
A: Steps to acclimation:
Q: I just received my fish and they don't look like the pictures on the website. Why?
A: Most of our pictures are taken with adult fish who are showing their maximum color and size potential. Any fish that was just shipped will be stressed. Allow a day or two (or occasionally more) for the fish to acclimate to their new environment - their color will return. This stress can also affect a fish's appetite. They may not eat for the first day or two. Be careful to not over feed during this period, as uneaten food will rot and diminish the water quality.
Q: Some or all of my fish arrived dead - what do I do?
A: LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE
For any DOA (Dead on Arrival), please send a 10-second video of the fish in the bag exactly as it was shipped, within 30 minutes of delivery. (I receive notifications when the fish arrive.)
I will refund any DOA or send another fish of your choice. However, I am not responsible for lost packages due to UPS.
All sales are final—no trade-outs or swaps.
